Official Rules

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES & D.C., AGE 18 OR OLDER. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. U.S. LAW GOVERNS THIS SWEEPSTAKES.

How to enter: The People's Choice Vote and Win Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") begins at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) on September 23, 2009 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on December 8, 2009 (the "Entry Period"). To enter, visit www.peopleschoice.com (the "Website") during the Entry Period, and follow the entry instructions. You will be asked to submit a vote in connection with any or all of the following: (i) the nomination process of People's Choice award nominees (as described at the website), (ii) any People's Choice award category (as described at the website); (iii) any "Influencer" or other public voting-required promotion as more particularly described at the website (with the exception of casting a vote in the "CVS/Pharmacy Beauty Inside and Out" promotion, which vote and promotion shall be outside of this sweepstakes). For each vote submitted in compliance with these Official Rules, you will receive one (1) Sweepstakes entry. You must be a member of the Website and be logged in to the site to enter. Online entries must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. ET on December 8, 2009. Normal time rates, if any, charged by Internet service provider will apply. All entries become the property of Procter & Gamble Productions ("Sponsor") and will not be returned, verified or acknowledged. No purchase necessary to enter.

Eligibility: The sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Employees of Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, and advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family and household members, are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. In the event of a dispute regarding any online entry, the entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry (i.e., the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address).

Winner Selection:One (1) potential Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted by Sponsor, whose decisions are final with respect to all matters relating to this sweepstakes, on or about December 11, 2009, from among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winner is subject to verification. The potential winners will be notified by e-mail, mail or phone, in Sponsor's discretion. The potential winners may be required to sign and return to Sponsor, within five (5) days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent, an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability & Publicity Release in order to claim the prize. If a potential winner is a minor in his/her state of residence, then the potential winner's parent or legal guardian may be required to execute the Affidavit and Release, and/or Sponsor may in its discretion award the prize to the potential winner's parent or legal guardian. If a potential winner is unreachable during a period of forty-eight (48) consecutive hours (no messages will be left on answering machines), or if a potential winner cannot be contacted, or if any potential winner fails to respond or fails to sign and return the Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability & Publicity Release within the required time period, or if any attempted notification or prize delivery is returned as undeliverable, the potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. The potential winner must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements.

Prize: Grand Prize: The Grand Prize consists of a three-day, two-night trip for the winner and one (1) guest to attend the 2010 People's Choice Awards. Specific dates, trip itineraries and related details will be determined solely by Sponsor. The Grand Prize winner and guest must travel together on same itinerary. If the winner is not available to travel on dates specified by Sponsor, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner. The trip consists of round trip coach class air transportation for the winner and her/his guest between the major airport nearest to winner's home and the major airport nearest to the destination, as determined by Sponsor in its discretion (Sponsor reserves the right to substitute train or other ground transportation in the event winner's home is 200 miles or fewer from destination), standard double-occupancy hotel accommodations for two (2) people (room rate and taxes only) for the specified number of nights at a hotel selected by Sponsor, and ground transportation between the destination airport and hotel. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight or other mode of transportation. All expenses and costs associated with the acceptance or use of the prize that are not expressly specified in these Official Rules as being part of the prize, including without limitation, spending money, meals, hotel services and amenities, additional room charges, souvenirs, gratuities, flight or travel insurance, taxes, any upgrades or additional nights and all other ancillary costs, are the responsibility solely of the winner. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. The winner may be required to present credit card at time of accommodation check-in. If for any reason whatsoever the winner does not, once the prize has been booked, take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize or that element of the prize. The approximate retail value ("ARV") of the Grand Prize is $3,500. Exact value will depend on market conditions at time of prize fulfillment and where the Grand Prize winner resides.

General Conditions: Prizes will be awarded if properly claimed. No substitution, cash redemption or transfer of right to receive any prize is permitted, except in the discretion of Sponsor, which reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All federal, state, local taxes on prize value, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of prize recipient. An IRS form 1099 will be issued if required by law. The total ARV of the prize is $3,500. All prize details, including specific activities in which the winner will be invited to participate, will be determined solely by Sponsor in its discretion.

If winner is not available to travel on dates specified by Sponsor, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner. Each of the trips consists of round trip coach class air transportation for the winner and her/his guest between the major airport nearest to winner's home and the major airport nearest to the destination, as determined by Sponsor in its discretion (Sponsor reserves the right to substitute train or other ground transportation in the event winner's home is 200 miles or less from destination), standard double-occupancy hotel accommodations for two (2) people (room rate and taxes only) for the specified number of nights at a hotel selected by Sponsor, and ground transportation between the destination airport and hotel. General Rules: Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, delayed, illegible, damaged, corrupted or incomplete entries, postage-due mail, incorrect or inaccurate capture of, damage to, or loss of entries or entry information, or any other human or technical errors of any kind relating to the submission, collection, storage or processing of entries or the administration of the sweepstakes. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for undeliverable e-mails resulting from any form of active or passive e-mail filtering by a user's Internet service provider and/or e-mail client or for insufficient space in user's e-mail account to receive e-mail. Sponsor is not responsible for any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in or accessing or downloading information in connection with this promotion. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, modify or suspend this sweepstakes should a virus, bug, technical failure or problem, entrant fraud or misconduct or other cause(s) beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor, in Sponsor's determination, corrupt the administration, integrity, security or proper operation of the sweepstakes. In the event of termination of the sweepstakes, a notice will be posted online and a random drawing to award the prize will be conducted from among all eligible entries received prior to the time of termination. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. By entering, entrants agree to release and hold Sponsor, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, agents, successors and licensees, and all other companies involved in any manner in the sweepstakes, and each of their directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless from and against any and all claims and liability arising out of participation in the sweepstakes or use of any prize. Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this sweepstakes or use or redemption of any prize. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, distributors, successors and licensees to use winner's name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. All entries become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not have any liability for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes or in the announcement of any prize. Sponsor reserves the right to amend these rules without notice to entrants.
